   Who invented the bubble gum?

Peeling back the rapper of the sweet smelling bubble gum, chewing it till the taste goes away. That is my memory of smelling bubble gum?

What Walter would do in his spare time was playing around with new gum recipes. The world’s  oldest chewing gum is 9000 years old, also bubble gum helps you concentrate.

You can buy any type of bubble gum/ flavor. Everyone

Will chew their gum till the taste disappears.

The game of deathly balls

Quad Death

Writing Purpose: To inform other HNI students the rules of the game and to develop our creative thinking ability.

Imagine another class here at HNI has not played this game before. Complete the rules below to clearly describe the aim of the game and exactly what the rules are.  

Aim of the game:

Rules.

1.  You have to sit on your bottom.

2.  The aim of the game is to get no points.

3. The aim of the game is to get four balls out of your halfs.      

4.If you go on your knees (CHEATING) you go and sit on the sideline till the teacher says you can go back in. {SO MAKE SURE TO STAY ON YOUR KNEES!!}

5.When the whistle stops. You have to stop throwing the  balls.

Game Adaptations

Use your creative thinking to explore possible adaptations to this game to enhance both the fun factor and the ability to win the game. I have given you one example for each category but challenge yourself with other ideas and thinking.

Attack	Defence	Game Plan/Strategy
Use balls other than netballs that aren’t as heavy so the speed of the travelling ball also speeds up the game.	- 4 players from each quad are allowed to sit on the bleaches to stretch with their arms and intercept flying balls. -	People on the perimeter of the quad pass the ball to someone closer to the bleaches to allow them to throw it further into the opponent's area.

The GET READY GET THRU Website says that in our Emergency Kit we need a TORCH and spare batteries. At Electronics I am going to design and make an Emergency light for myself.

Mangakuri beach!

 

Getting sick on the way to Mangakuri beach is forgotten when I catch a glimpse of the beach. Waves banging into the rocks like a tornado,sand crunching between my toes as I leap out of the car. My siblings and I hopping into the water like crabs, the water freezing as we enter, standing on pointy hard rocks as we try to spy our Mum and Dad all the way out in the sea, finding food to take home. We leave Mangakuri beach, our car filled with thousands of grains of sand and smelling like the sea. Until next time we hope there is more food for us to find in the sea!
